a. this is the picture that is the most powerful to me bc it shows you how war really is with bombs going off a lot and the fear on their faces that they could die at any moment .
b. the images work together to tell a story by being in a story line like training then way then seeing your family etc.
c. the captions Enhance the pictures by giving them a lot more details and information about what is happening.
d. ians life: he graduated high school and went straight into the army having to leave his family and friends then he went to training and started causing problems within the group. then he started doing very well and he started to fit in with everyone else. he got a couple injuries but fought through them. he went home to his dads and him and his girl friend broke up and he using a bunch of drugs that his dad is concerned about. he gets another girlfriend but he feels ass though he's not fitting in with any group of people and he is sad about it. then he gets baptized and then he was late and turned himself in for a drug problem and he dropped a rank. after he gets back from Iraq he moves up a lot and he gets married to his girlfriend and he seems happy.
e. the very are usually written in present tense to make it seem more realistic.
f. the captions explain whats happening in the pictures and how Ian is feeling at that moment.
1. here are usually about 2-3 sentences per caption.
2.the information the provide is what he is doing at the moment the picture is taken or whats being said or the emotion that happening.
3. is usually a quote or something like that

g.if there is enough pictures it could put together a story just by looking at them.
h. because some stories don't have pictures or the captions don't give every single detail that there shout be in a story.
